Affordable, Compact, High- Performance Shack-Hartmann Wavefront Sensor
HASO FIRST is today the most affordable sensor providing a Lambda/100 rms absolute accuracy.
Unlike other wavefront sensors, HASO FIRST works on collimated or uncollimated wavefronts and has a guaranteed Lambda/100 rms absolute accuracy within a dynamic range of 400 Lambdas. This means the measurement remains accurate and reliable even if used on very tilted (±3 degrees), very divergent or very convergent wavefronts (the measured beam can focus as close as 15 mm before or after the entrance pupil of the sensor!). This provides HASO FIRST unmatched flexibility and more capabilities for laser characterization, optical system metrology, optical alignment and adaptive optics (see set-up guide attached).
HASO V3, WAVEFRONT ANALYSIS SOFTWARE SOLUTION
Each HASO sensor is provided with the latest version of the industry leading HASO V3 software which combines 15 years of experience and development in wavefront measurement and analysis.

HASO V3 features:
-Tilt alignment (thanks to a pinhole provided)
- Zernicke and Legendre decomposition
- Pupil management (automatic shapes, doughnut shapes, any user-defined shape)
- Advanced analysis modules: Spot diagrams, MTF, PSF, Msquare, Strehl ratio
- Absolute, reference measurement modes
- Sequence mode, up to 950 Hz operation
- Internal/ external trigger, CW or pulsed operation
- Code V, Zemax compatibility
- Real time or post-processing operation
- User -defined wavefront generator and simulator
More than 500 HASO sensors are currently used worldwide for:
-Optical system quality control, MTF measurements
-Laser characterization ( CW or pulsed) , Strehl ratio and Msquare measurements
-Optical systems alignment (collimators, telescopes)
-Optical components surface measurement (mirrors, wafers, large Xray optics)
-Adaptive optics in ultrafast lasers, ultra-intense lasers, microscopy, optical coherence tomography, retinal imaging systems
ADAPTIVE OPTICS
HASO 3 wavefront sensors can be combined with a deformable mirror (for example MIRAO 52) or a spatial light modulator for a full adaptive optics solution. Click here to access the Adaptive Optics Kit page.
HASO FAMILY OF WAVEFRONT SENSORS
HASO FIRST is part of the HASO FAMILY OF WAVEFRONT SENSORS manufactured by Imagine Optic. HASO 3 sensors can be used from Xray, EUV to Visible and NIR with resolutions up to 128 x 128 and speeds up to 950 Hz. For more information, click here to access Imagine Optic website.
