C-Band (1530-1570 nm) - Other on demand

Number of combined beams

Up to 10 (coherent) and 45 (incoherent)

Signal input beam

Single mode fiber

Signal output beam

MMF or free space output

Output beam shape

Almost free-form (donut, top-hat etc)

Insertion loss

< 3dB

Intended for free space optical communications and for LiDAR applications, the TILBA-EMIT component increases the power and range of laser sources.

This product coherently or incoherently combines several laser sources so that the transmission power can be increased without it being necessary to invest in very powerful and expensive sources.

Able to support up to ten inputs in a coherent combination or 45 inputs in an incoherent combination of cumulative power of about ten kilowatts, TILBA-EMIT can also optimize the properties of the beam such as its M2, its variance or its intensity or even generate annular shaped beams.

TILBA for Free Space Optics telecommunications

The TILBA solution improves the quality of free space optical communications by increasing their range and limiting the influence of atmospheric turbulence.

  • More reliable laser communications: Increases the range and robustness of optical links in free space
  • Passive optical system: A totally passive system with unlimited bandwidth
  • Compatible with standard telecommunications components: inputs/outputs over standard single mode optical fibers compatible with telecommunications components.
