SIRIUS is a high precision positioning hexapod capable of adjusting objects weighing up to 500 kg with high  resolution. SIRIUS hexapod meets the most stringent standards during testing and adjustment phases in industries such as aeronautics, optics, and space exploration.

To meet this need, all Symetrie hexapods are equipped with a high-performance control rack. This rack seamlessly interfaces with either their Graphical User Interface (GUI) or, if preferred, directly with your software environment via an Application Programming Interface (API).

  • A powerful multi-axis Delta Tau industrial controller

The SYM_Positioning hexapod positioning and control software, equipped with an ergonomic Human Machine Interface (HMI), provides intuitive commands directly from the home screen and enables the generation of movements using specific files. Additionally, the software facilitates easy adjustment of the center of rotation.

HexaSym Simulator: Choosing Your Hexapod Made Easy

HexaSym is Symetrie’s free simulation software, simplifying the selection process by allowing you to evaluate the possible travels and load capacities of each hexapod in their range. With HexaSym, you can test various configurations and parameters, including:

  • Cumulative travel ranges on multiple axes simultaneously
  • Adjustment of the center of rotation
  • Definition of different reference frames
  • Variation of hexapod orientation (vertical, horizontal, other)
  • Payload adjustments

HexaSym also provides a 3D visualization feature, allowing you to observe the hexapod’s movements according to the commanded positions. Additionally, sliders offer immediate control over movements.
