Take spectral measurements anywhere, at any time with IndiGo NIR handheld spectrometer. IndiGo NIR is a near Infrared portable spectrometer that fits in the palm of your hand. Its modularity allows direct measurements of absorption, reflection, or transmission in solid or liquid samples connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone or tablet, or wired to a PC via USB. The IndiGo NIR handheld spectrometer can measure from 720 nm to 1050 nm with a resolution of 2 nm (FWHM).

This new spectrometer allows the user to measure emission, absorption or transmission spectra directly on a handheld device or a PC and is compatible with all Android tablets and smartphones equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 connection.

IndiGo NIR handheld spectrometer provides data compatible with all the chemometric softwares (R, Solo, Unscrambler, Quasar…). Customization of the firmware to associate your chemometrics model is possible.

GoyaLab has developed several modules compatible with the IndiGo NIR spectrometer, which offer the possibility of adding additional functionalities to your spectrometer:

• NIR reflection for measurements on solids
• NIR absorption/reflection for measurements in liquids contained in a cuvette

Spectrolab Software

The IndiGo NIR handheld spectrometer is delivered with the SpectroLab application:

• SpectroLab PC: A PC application for Windows to acquire and analyze spectra (USB-C connection)
• SpectroLab Android: An Android application for smartphone and tablet to acquire and analyze spectra (Bluetooth connection)

Goyalab spectrometers come factory calibrated. SpectroLab also offers the possibility to re-calibrate on-site using an Hg/Ar lamp or a fluorescent lamp.

IndiGo NIR Accessories

NIR Reflection module for solid samples 

The reflection module adds a continuous near infrared broadband light source (from 700nm up to 1100nm) to the IndiGo NIR for reflection measurements.

The reflection module integrates a sapphire window to ensure the protection of the electronics while being in contact with the samples. Sapphire is not easily scratched while being extremely transmissive to infrared.

This accessory is convenient for protein, dry matter, fat and sugar measures on foods, wheats, flours.

NIR Reflection or Transmission for Liquid Samples

This accessory allows NIR spectral measurements on liquids, pastes or micro-beads thanks to its standard cuvette holder.

This accessory adds a near infrared broadband light source (from 700nm up to 1100nm) to the IndiGo NIR for reflection or transmission measurements depending on its configuration.
