RFLEX LA – Large aperture wavefront metrology system: self illuminated wavefront sensor with beam expander up to 200mm

 

The RFLEX LA large aperture Wavefront metrology system is an optical flatness measurement tool for visible and near infrared wavelengths with an output beam diameter up to 200 mm.

The LA is a platform extending the capabilities of RFLEX 2 for analyzing even large optical surface or optics. The output collimated beam size can be chosen up to 200mm in diameter.

Using the RFLEX2 and the LA, i.e the RFLEX LA system, extends the capabilities of Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensors for analyzing large optics and optical surfaces such as filters, dichroic beam splitters, head-up displays, eyewear, optical windows, flat mirrors, polarization scramblers. This system can also be used for alignment.

The RFLEX LA large aperture wavefront metrology system is a combination of a light source, the RFlEX 2 collimator and its Shack-Hartamann sensor, and a beam expander that offers several advantages as follows:

  • Insensitive to vibration
  • Absolute accuracy lambda/100 RMS
  • Compact
  • Switchable beam expanders
  • Switchable light sources within two spectrum bands; VIS: 400-700nm and NIR: 650-1100nm
  • Many setups: detachable HASO wavefront sensor for using alone or only with the RFLEX 2, and different focusing modules.
  • Bundled with WaveView, the industry’s most advanced metrology software and WaveKit (Software Development Kit) in C, Python, and LabVIEW
