AO Kit DM – Adaptive Optics using Deformable Mirrors
The AO kit DM is a complete solution adaptive optics kit for wavefront correction, PSF correction and shaping and in-depth aberration correction.
It is a combination of:
- A wavefront sensor, for a simple, precise and reliable measurement of the wavefront: pick a HASO wavefront sensor here
- A deformable mirror for a fast and stable correction: pick a mu-DM or Mirao DM, Alpao DM, Thorlabs DM
- A universal adaptive optics software for a total control of the operations: WaveTuneTMÂ
Why use the AO Kit DM?
- The adaptive optics loop can be integrated with different phase modulators, such as deformable mirrors, spatial light modulators (AO Kit SLM), and phaseplate (AO Kit phaseplate)
-  Integration with one of our deformable mirror delivers 50 µm maximal deformation and exceptional surface quality (10 nm RMS active flat).
-  The choice of HASO wavefront sensors can reach λ/100 RMS absolute accuracy over 400 λ dynamic range.
- AO Kit DM includes an adaptive optics software either with a user interface or an SDK.
- Software calibrates the phase modulator, to operate it in closed or open – loop modes.
- Software solution contains sensorless, image-based iterative aberration detection algorithms (3N and phase diversity) dedicated to microscopy applications.
- Software plugins are available for certain versions of NIS-ElementsTM, μManagerTM and MetamorphTM.
