Turn your Alvium VSWIR camera into a laser beam profiler thanks to RayCi software. RayCi is specifically designed for analyzing and visualizing laser beam profiles, providing tools for determining key beam parameters according to ISO standards. Camera + Software package starting under $10k.
Alvium camera Key features
Compact design
- ~30 x 30 x 30 mm3
- Easily mounted on optical tables and breadboards (1/4-20″ + M6 screw holes)

USB3 connectivity
- No need for an additional power supply

Broad spectral range
- high QE from 400 to 1700 nm

Smallest InGaAs pixel pitch in the industry
- With 3.45 µm, the min beam size measurable is ~35 µm
- The examples below show a beam width of ~65 µm (1/e2)
4 models to chose from
Model | Active area (mm2) | Pixel pitch (µm) |
---|---|---|
U-530 | 8.94 x 7.09 | 3.45 |
U-320 | 7.17 x 5.32 | 3.45 |
U-130 | 6.4 x 5.4 | 5 |
U-030 | 3.2 x 2.4 | 5 |
* we typically recommend the min beam size to be ~10-12 pixels and the max beam size to be ~75% of the sensor width/height
Optional side USB connector

Optional bare board level camera

Optional coverglass removal

I/O cable for external triggering

- Supports one of the most advanced interfaces for remote control: the XML- RPC protocol (see http://xmlrpc.scripting.com/spec.html). With the XML-RPC server that runs in RayCi, it is possible to remote control the software completely from outside; i.e. from any device (regardless of the operating system, processor architecture etc.) that supports basic HTTP/TCP communication. Almost every feature of RayCi’s graphical user interface can be performed by calling appropriate XML-RPC methods.
- Includes wrapper librairies for C/C++, C#/Java, .NET, LabVIEW, Python and Excel
