The ANT is a SWIR multispectral snapshot camera that provides in real-time an image cube corresponding to 9 spectral bands between 900 and 1700 nm. It is based on the hybridization of a custom 3 x 3 Bayer-like mosaic filter onto an InGaAs sensor, thus allowing the extraction of a the spectrum on each point of the image. Each individual spectral image is built using a demosaicing or de-Bayering process combined with an algorithm minimizing the cross-talk between each spectral bands.
This technique allows real-time multispectral applications using a low-SWaP commercial camera with no moving parts. Using the ANT is as easy as using a color camera with R,G,B filters.
