Ultra High-Speed Cameras
Ultra High-Speed Cameras
Axiom Optics offers Revealer ultra-high speed cameras for resolving rapid motion, transient events, and complex physical processes—from impact and fracture to combustion, plasma, and high-speed fluid flow. With options spanning exceptional full-resolution frame rates, high-sensitivity imaging, ultraviolet response, and compact camera designs, this range helps researchers and engineers turn fleeting events into detailed sequences for analysis.
Explore the Revealer Range
NEO — High-Sensitivity Imaging for Dynamic Research
The NEO series combines 20 ÎĽm pixels and 85% peak quantum efficiency with a BSI CMOS sensor for light-limited experiments. NEO 16, 20, and 25 models deliver 16,000, 20,000, and 25,000 fps, respectively, at 1280 Ă— 1024. The NEO 25 reaches 1,000,000 fps at a reduced 1280 Ă— 16 region of interest, supporting investigation of exceptionally fast events.
NEO 25UV — Reveal Ultraviolet Dynamics
Bring ultraviolet phenomena into view with the wide-spectrum NEO platform. Revealer specifies spectral response from 200–1100 nm and approximately 60% quantum efficiency at 250 nm for its wide-spectrum NEO cameras. This sensitivity supports UV combustion diagnostics, radical-emission studies, and plasma research, with suitable optics and filters selected for the wavelength of interest.
NEO Mini — High Sensitivity in a Compact Format
Fit high-speed imaging into space-constrained setups with NEO Mini. Models offer 6,000, 9,000, or 12,500 fps at 1280 Ă— 1024, with BSI CMOS sensors and 20 ÎĽm pixels. Global shutter operation and minimum exposures of 150 ns help freeze rapid motion, while 10 Gigabit Ethernet supports efficient image transfer.
S-series — Flexible Capture with Large Memory
The S-series combines global shutter CMOS imaging with large onboard memory for demanding test workflows. S1305, S1307, S1310, and S1315 models record at 5,000, 7,000, 10,000, and 15,000 fps, respectively, at 1280 Ă— 1024. Minimum exposures of 100 ns help limit motion blur in impact, vibration, materials, and industrial process studies.
