Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) &

Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM)


Following a well-received workshop series in Europe, Lambert Instruments, Axiom Optics and the Harvard Center for Nanoscale Systems offer a dedicated 2 day workshop on FRET & FLIM.  This workshop is designed such that it is suitable for all levels of experience, from starters to advanced microscopy users!


The workshop includes talks, hands-on sessions and participants are encouraged to bring their own samples to CNS for the hands-on sessions. Our tentative program (as of Sept 12th , 2012) :




Thursday, Nov 15th:

 

  1. 9 AM - 12 PM:

  2. Talks by Pfr. Enrico Gratton (UCI), Pfr. Peter So ( MIT),

  3. Dr. Cedric Espenel (Weill Medical College of Cornell University)

  4. 1 PM - 6  PM:    

  5. Demos, Hands-on sessions       

  6. Evening:            

  7. Tour of CNS, Q&A session and Dinner


Friday, Nov 16th:

 

  1. 9 AM-4  PM:

  2. Hands on sessions

  3. (widefield and Confocal FLIM set-ups available).



  1. -Registration Fee:

  2. $150 USD for full registration (lectures, hands-on sessions, 2 lunches, and 1 dinner)

  3. $40 USD for Thursday’s lectures and 1 lunch

  4. -Max number of participants: 20 for hands-on sessions, 60 for lectures

  5. -Participants are encouraged to bring their own samples.
